Happy Earth Day: Heal a Veteran; Save the Planet

Happy Earth Day 2019

As a random point of reference, in 1974 daredevil Evel Knievel barely cleared 14 semi trucks when he jumped them on his motorcycle.

This year for Earth Day 2019, I am proud to say we saved 17 Semis full of materials from a possible fate of going to a Evel Knievel could not have jumped over the amount of recycling we accomplished over the past year.

That is 320,000 pounds of materials recycled and up cycled to help veterans - nearly 1/3 of our production now results from recycling efforts!!!

You, our Donor Partners are a part of this solution!

As a donor, YOU HELPED save our planet (over the past year):

  • 320,000 pounds of materials being recycled and up cycled to help veterans heal
  • 91,442 therapeutic kits over the last year - from recycled materials
  • $3,000,000.00 retail value of new therapeutic kits created from recycled materials

Thank you for your part in our recycling efforts, that ultimately result in the healing of veterans through our therapy kits!

Donor Partners like you are incredibly powerful and when we work together we can create huge results!

Thank you for being a part of the team who saved over 17 semis full of materials from ending up in landfills and ultimately ending up in veterans hands for therapeutic healing!

Happy Earth Day, you earned it!

Captain Joe

PS:The breadth and variety of items we have had offered to us and we ultimately up cycled and recycled is astounding: Airplane seats, upholstery leather, upholstery cloth, luggage, computer bags, cases of colored pencils, truckloads of various art and craft materials, a football field length of deer skins, shoe strings, automobile seats and much more.

We can do so much more, but we’re severely limited due to a lack of capacity. With your help we can double the number of kits we produce and keep twice as much waste we keep from landfills.
