Sustainability Comes First

We are committed – as a business partner, an employer, a community member, an environmental steward and a value creator to impacting our world.

Reducing Our Environmental Footprint

We repurpose materials from our donors that would otherwise end up in landfills and turn them into therapeutic crafting kits for our veterans.

What Sustainability Means to Us

At HHV sustainability means the drive to ensure the long-term existence of our business, our partners businesses, our natural resources, the human talent necessary to provide the products and services we provide, the communities within which we operate and the well-being of those we serve.

Renew. Reuse. Recycle.

Our environmental policy seeks to ensure protection of the environment through waste minimization by up-cycling materials that are considered waste by our partners. We responsibly utilize numerous materials, mostly textiles, one of the biggest contributors to landfill waste in the US. By upcycling, less waste ends up in the landfills that are polluting our environment at an alarming rate. Working with others, we aspire to reshape the way we work to achieve significant and lasting improvement and social outcomes, in a way that also allows us to fulfill our mission.

Partnership

By working with donors, we can support economic and environmental development and achieve greater good. We can’t do it alone, but by being willing to be a conduit to protect the environment, we can reduce our partners overall environmental impact while fulfilling our mission to help veterans heal.
